He's back and look how much older he looks(and how much cuter!)! sta.sh/0kapix16jnm After Pokemon Next Door closed,I was pretty disappointed that I didn't really get to RP as Lucas much, especially since I really grew to like my lil Shinx. I decided I had to find a home for him after we closed the group and after much thought I decided I'd be sending him to the Pokemon Death Weapon Meister Academy(DWMA). So here Lucas is, grown up and evolved! He's really changed a lot in 5 years, evolving, having a growth spurt, and getting into better shape! I've really had to make some major changes for Lucas to fit the universe better which has been one of the hardest things I've ever done when its come to writing a character.

History: From the moment he was born, Lucas lived a spoiled life of luxury in Chicago, thanks to his parents profession, though it wasn't very pretty. Though the Shinx was unaware of the true nature of his parents, what he knew is that his parents were a meister and weapon pair, his father being a meister and his mother being a weapon that took on the form of a Thompson sub machine gun. Their job apparently brought them all sorts of wealth, something Lucas got to enjoy to its fullest.The Shinx had everything he could wish for. A luxurious mansion, the best dining, all the toys and comics he wished for, basically just about anything his little heart desired.

At school the Shinx had a rather popular status thanks to his wealth, though most along with Lucas were unaware of what was truly going on. While playing with his friends, Lucas enjoyed showing off all his toys and often watching TV, playing video games, or even outdoor activity like playing baseball. Life wasn't all fun and games though. While he was not around his friends, the Shinx would often be brought into some rigorous training, though it was through this that his parents learned their son was hindered by exercise-induced asthma. Their wealth gave them the best health care they could afford and managed to get him the necessary medicine in order to keep this asthma at bay and continue to train. They also put their son into all kinds of sports, though Lucas very much enjoyed this, especially since it got him the chance to play for the school baseball team.

As time went on, Lucas would slowly mature and by the time Lucas evolved into a Luxio, his father decided it was time to bring him into the family business. He began to explain to his son what he and his mother did, wanting him to be a part of their business. He learned his parents worked as mobsters, heavily involved with various criminal activity such as running protection rackets, smuggling, and even drug shipping. His parents cold interior was becoming clear to Lucas and over time, the young Luxio became mortified. He was taken out to a local shop where his parents were trying to scare the shop keepers into paying money for protection. Lucas watched as things grew rather heated and it wasn't long before his father killed the shop keeper and his mother ate the innocent human soul left behind.

Lucas was eventually brought into the family business, though deep down, Lucas didn't want to be a part of this. He feared though what might happen if he refused to take on an assignment or kill an innocent person who got in the way of his parents. He felt like it was the only choice he had and over time it began to eat at him from the inside. It was weakening his fear filled soul as he began working for his parents, carrying out tasks like delivering drugs, collecting money from their clients, and stealing. Time went on and Lucas was being dragged away from school to work for his family, even being pulled from games to carry out his parents activities. This wasn't what Lucas wanted in life...

On one cold winter evening, after his usual late night bathroom trip, Lucas heard some loud commotion coming from the living room. He went to investigate, but what he found was his parents being confronted by some shiny Umbreon, a Raichu, and a Pikachu, who soon transformed into two pistols. Lucas knew what was going on and almost right away intervened, trying to stop this Umbreon from killing his parents despite all the fear he had of them. His pleas were shut down by the Umbreon explained that he could not let his parents live as they were on the road to becoming kishin. Despite Lucas's continuous please, a gun fight soon ensued and the family's security squad was brought in. It was his parents goal though to escape upon the urge of their personal squad. As they made their escape to their private limo that awaited them, the Umbreon struck down a chandelier that landed on Lucas, knocking him out from the collision. The attack was suddenly halted by the Umbreon as he became obsessed with the damaged chandelier and the asymmetrical mess it had become, allowing all to escape. His partners urged him to chase after Lucas's parents, though the Umbreon just wouldn't stop moping and blaming himself. The Umbreon's partners Liz and Patty eventually brought him out of his depression over the chandelier, eventually discovering the now unconscious Luxio. Lucas was soon taken into custody and taken away from his home by the Umbreon.

Lucas was brought to the DWMA, being presented to none other than Lord Death himself. Lord Deaths son, Death the Kid, the Umbreon who attacked his family suggested interrogating the Luxio for information about where his parents were going. Lucas pleaded to be spared though, trying to tell them he didn't want any part of the life he was forced into. Lord Death could see the fear in his soul and that he could be saved from leading a life that would put him on the road to becoming a kishin, deciding the best thing to do with him would be to enroll him and put him on the right path. This is where he stands now.

Personality: Lucas is a particularly eager and energetic Luxio, if not a little hyper at times, though he often plays sports and such as a way to drain the large amounts of energy he has. He comes off as a little annoying at times, mostly due his high energy. He also tends to ramble on often as well as acting a little whiny at times. Living a mostly spoiled life, he expect to get whatever he wants, but not having access to that luxury he had before is something he'd have to adjust to. Despite his flaws, he's a hard working Luxio and will often focus on finishing one task before doing another, though when under quite a bit of pressure he struggles quite a bit and it could often cause him to fail. He's very easy to manipulate, especially under pressure or fear, something his parents were able to do very well.
