Moveset

Super Fang

Super Fang does damage equal to 50% of the target's current health. Archie attacks his targets with a powerful bite. Super Fang is a move Archie learned naturally. As he bites on his opponents, his teeth notably glow white and extend slightly. Biting the wrong Pokemon; namely a Rock type, a Steel type, or a Pokemon with tough skin, could put him at risk for breaking his teeth, especially due to the weaker power this move has.

Iron Tail

By slamming the target with a hard tail, the user has a chance of lowering the target's defense by 30% Archie picked up this move through his father's genetics and it became somewhat of a signature move for him. When using this move, his tail will stiffen up and glow as he slams down on his target. It will likely leave a bruise due to the power of the move.

Electro Ball

This ball of electricity's damage depends on the speed between Pokemon. The greater the distance in speed from the user to the target, the more damage will be done. He learned this move naturally while he was teaching his brother how to defend himself. When using this move, Archie will spark up with electricity, until it all condenses into the form of a ball of electricity, which Archie will fire at his target. He doesn't use this move as often as others and he may sometimes experience a slight shock when using this move.

Full Personality
Archie is Pachirisu who tends to be a bit of a loner who often distance himself from others. Other might feel intimidated by his tough exterior. While he doesn't usually seek out social interaction, he won't shy away from it if he is approached. One will notice though that he is generally a bit aloof at first and sometimes even a bit snarky, especially when he is annoyed. He tends to behave in such a way though, due a certain fear of losing others, a fear he keeps hidden from others. Of course though, while he is very hesitant at first, if he ever does strike up a new bond with someone, he displays a certain level of compassion that he does not show regularly. When others see his more compassionate side, they will find that Archie will usually listen to them and he'll often be more empathetic, due to his own personal experiences in life. To those he is close to, he will also be very protecting of them and he will defend them at any given moment. Whether someone isn't treating someone he is close to well, or they need help getting out of a nasty situation, he'll have your back whenever you need him. Aside from that, Archie is generally a clever Pachirisu who not only able to recognize problems and think of a quick solution, but he also tends to learn and absorb new information quickly. His cleverness often comes in handy in the field of mechanics and engineering. He is often determined to see through his goals and never hesitates to take any action that would get him closer to accomplishing them. Of course though, sometimes it might mean he won't ever hesitate to throw a punch. He does have a bit of a short temper and can easily be set off by insults, or being called cute. Overall, while he might seem like an intimidating squirrel though, there's someone who's always got your back deep inside.

History

Archer, nicknamed Archie, was born to an Ampharos and Pachirisu couple living in the big city. The family lived a rather comfortable and happy life in Jubilife City, living just above a sporting goods shop his family ran. This was actually very convenient. Ever since his youth, Archie was always an active young Pachirisu. He spent most of his time participating in extreme sports, from mountain biking to skateboarding when he wasn't in school. Most of what he had actually came from his parents shop. Generally, Archie got along pretty well with his parents and he was always thankful for being able to get the latest gear from the shop. By the time he was 10, he began to help them a bit in the shop. He naturally picked up on a few things here and there when he spent time around the shop, from the latest models and even a bit of repair tips from his dad. Life was actually pretty great for the young Pachirisu.

Not too long after Archie turned 12, he would see his life change forever. One warm summer evening while he was in bed, Archie heard a window shatter, which came the shop downstairs. He went to investigate, though as he was leaving his room, his parents caught sight of him and ordered him to get back to his room and hide. The next several moments were a blur to Archie as he hid under his bed as his parents investigated the situation. His parents instantly realized that someone broke into their shop, likely wanting to rob their shop. His mom managed to call the cops, though this led to her and her husband being caught. They were attacked by the robber in their desperation to prevent them from getting the cops there in time, and to open a window of time for their escape. When the cops arrived, they found that the robber escaped. They also found Archie's parents on the ground, both having in a pool of blood. By the large cuts they identified, they determined the robber who murdered them likely used a move such as a particuarly powerful Fury Cutter, Cut, or possibly even a move like Guillotine. Archie would soon be found upstairs in his room, though when he heard the news of his parents murder, he was crushed.

Archie was sent off to live in an orphanage from that moment on. His grief often manifested itself in the form of a sour attitude, as well as anger. He often took his anger out on other kids living with him, sometimes even with the move Iron Tail. Taking it out on others was somewhat of a coping mechanism for him, though it wasn't the best way. While he eventually learned that the Pokemon that murdered his parents was caught and sentenced to life in prison, he still had trouble moving on and coping in a healthy manner. After a month or two, most of the kids grew to fear him quickly and the people in charge regularly scolded him for his behavior towards the other kids and his use of such attacks, especially due to how most in Sinnoh viewed moves as impure. They often suggested he talked to someone in therapy, rather than beating up other kids. He didn't care though and even spent some time practicing his own moves. It helped him keep his mind off his loss, though he still needed a better way to cope.  At one point, one kid, a Meowth named Alex, would finally stand up to him. At first, he would throw a punch or two, though he settled down after a few moments. After talking things through, he finally opened up to the Meowth about the events that happened and venting did help him a bit. Over time, he and Alex bonded with each other and shared their experiences that landed them in the orphanage. He started to realize that talking to others was much better than taking his anger out on others also, which led to him also taking a bit of therapy. They suggested that he not only continued to get to know the other kids, and that he took part in other activities that he used to enjoy. He started to befriend Alex at this point and even began to go out to ride his bike like he used to. It wasn't long though before Alex was soon adopted by a nice family. While he continued to go to therapy, Archie started to wonder why he even bothered getting close to anyone. Just like his parents, Alex was taken away from him. He'd start to grow more hesitant to form new connections at that point. Soon though, his time at the orphanage would soon draw to a close.

Archie was later adopted by a happy lesbian couple by the time he was 14. Along with his two moms, he had a younger brother, Riley, an 11 year old Riolu. After arriving in his new home in Amberette Town, he had a rather rocky start with his new family. He often shrugged off his new family's attempts to get to know him. He stayed in his new room for the most part, or walking along the beaches of Route 8. His new adoptive family didn't stop trying to make him feel welcome though. It took some time before he started to connect with his new family. He was 17 when he finally started to and this was when Riley's bike broke down. After spending so much time around his father in the shop, he managed to quickly recognize the problem, which was the bike chain. After 5 years, it was a bit easier to recall old memories of his parents, thanks to the therapy and previous interactions with his old friend Alex. He remembered seeing his father repair a bike chain around the time he started helping out in the shop. While he still could feel a slight sting from the memories, he was able to move on and repair the bike chain. Afterwards, he agreed to join him for a ride. What compelled him though to connect more with him was the revelation that Riley was often bullied at school. When he saw this, he decided to take a stand to a kid who was picking on Riley and he even decided to help Riley learn how to defend himself in secrecy. Seeing Archie spend time with his new brother made his moms so happy and overtime, Archie would finally open up to them, despite the rocky start. 

As the years went on, Archie would connect more with his adoptive family as he shared more of his life with his moms and his brother. He'd even share stories about his biological parents, which he grew more comfortable sharing as time went on. Once he moved on from high school, he decided that he wanted to follow in his biological parents footsteps. He wanted to run a sports shop, just like his parents used to. His moms encouraged him to do so and his brother always thought he was good with bike repair. He decided to go to college for business, as well as mechanics and engineering. He'd spend time also studying repair from bikes to even motorized vehicles. After he graduated from college, Archie decided to move to Lumiose City, hoping to find work and someday open his own shop. Not too long after moving in, the Pachirisu soon got an email from a mysterious "Mr. Cool" Naturally, he was dismissive of the email, until he learned more about the increasingly tighter restrictions on moves. Sure, move use was frowned upon in Sinnoh, but tighter restrictions were being put in place now? His moves were always something that made him feel strong and he didn't want to let someone tell him that he couldn't defend himself properly. After mulling it over for sometime and looking into this Argos Navis, Archie finally responded to the email.
